The boat is afloat, and we are on our way south! Just because we left the yard though doesn’t mean the boat work is finished. Duh. We still need to tune the rig, bend on the sails and climb the mast to attach the instruments. There’s a bunch of plumbing that needs attention and a manual bilge pump we discovered no longer works.

Some projects are fun, and some are a slog. What’s always fun is checking a completed task off the list — and if you use the right type of list, it can be magical.
