When we first bought our sailboat, we didn’t know anything about boat repair. Now, a few years and dozens of boat projects later, we’ve acquired quite a bit of experience. With similar projects popping up a second time we don’t feel so clueless anymore!
We’ve had one minor deck leak that has dogged us ever since we first surveyed the boat. Kirk thinks he’s finally armed with enough experience and the right supplies — penetrating epoxy — to put an end to the leak. He also pieces together his own DIY fuel polishing system to clean our dirty fuel tank.
After tying up these loose ends, it’s splash time. Yeehaw!
