“How far are you behind real time?” We get asked this question a lot. All videos online are behind real-time by some amount, unless you’re watching a live stream. Some are more-so than others, and ours no doubt, have a significant delay. Why?
We explain when and how we started our YouTube channel, how we work, and what our video production process is. We give you insight into how our video timeline has unfolded alongside our real-time timeline, as well as a taste of what’s yet to come…!
To our patrons: Our biggest heartfelt thank you is to you. You are the reason we are able to keep making videos. You keep Sailing Soulianis afloat. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
All the best,
Lauren & Kirk

Camera Gear:
I spent 12 yrs living aboard a 31 Hunter in NC. I had to continue working until retirement. Every dollar that was not spent on living expenses went to upgrades for the retirement sail into the sunset. A family emergency forced me to sell the boat and give up my dream. So I am living my retirement watching your (and a few others) dreams come true. I am currently in Santa Marta, Colombia (have been for almost 3 yrs and planning on staying). If you make it here. Give me a shout for a free beer.
Hi Mike, sorry to hear about the loss of your dream. It’s a story we’ve heard too many times and gives us motivation to keep moving 🙂 All the best to you!
I enjoy your programming, very professionally done.
Don’t worry about not being in “real time”. Real time would be a peep show!
Thanks Marty!
